You know you are in trouble when the Bears who are in need of WRs release you.
And yet, someone on here will think we should go out and get him..... ;D
Why take the bears' leftovers when you can pick up Mike Furrey from the lions.

    No joke.
I wouldn't laugh to hard on that one myself.
Question remains though, will Rice and AA step up thier game this year or not?

If the going in concensus is yes, then I think we are pretty set at WR.

I still wonder why "all" of our WR's struggled last year getting off the line against the more agressive/press CB's in the league though..... :
I think we can assume AA will be playing for his position in TC, and Rice should only be a slot guy next season at best. Rice is still young, hell he could have been entering this draft if he had wanted to, so he's got to stick around.

We really need someone to come in and do what we thought Rice was going to be doing by now, starting alongside Berrian, & leaving wade for the slot. I'm not sure if a rookie could do that, but there's enough free agents that can, like TJ, Antonio Bryant, Furrey, or even Toomer.

I like the idea that the team most likely has to pick up a veteran WR or QB this year. I'm just kind of scared that they will be reluctant to spend big bucks and acknowledge that their drafting wasn't all that great.
AA still leaves me scratching my slightly balding head........I really thought AA would step up last year.

I for one really would like to see Bryant on the roster but again, My guess is that they won't go after a top tier FA because of what they already have invested in that position.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Besides Bryant has character issues, we could have signed him multiple times if we had wanted to. He's always been a top tier guy but he is just a pipe dream for people who forget about our commitment to character, including me.
