Bears really need to redo there whole receiving core. Since they have lost Berrian, they have had nothing.

I wouldn't laugh to hard on that one myself.
Question remains though, will Rice and AA step up thier game this year or not?

If the going in concensus is yes, then I think we are pretty set at WR.

I still wonder why "all" of our WR's struggled last year getting off the line against the more agressive/press CB's in the league though..... :

I think we can assume AA will be playing for his position in TC, and Rice should only be a slot guy next season at best. Rice is still young, hell he could have been entering this draft if he had wanted to, so he's got to stick around.

We really need someone to come in and do what we thought Rice was going to be doing by now, starting alongside Berrian, & leaving wade for the slot. I'm not sure if a rookie could do that, but there's enough free agents that can, like TJ, Antonio Bryant, Furrey, or even Toomer.

I like the idea that the team most likely has to pick up a veteran WR or QB this year. I'm just kind of scared that they will be reluctant to spend big bucks and acknowledge that their drafting wasn't all that great.

Well maybe not idiots.

I am sure someone could give us a decent arguement/discussion points as to why he should/would help out our WR corps.

Its the guys who just say "Go get him" that baffle me a bit...... ;D
