Here's to knocking on wood that nobody on our or any NFL team suffers a career threatening/season ending injury. Even though I hate the Bears I still find it bad karma to wish ill will on such tribulations another team may face. Just my opinion.

Picking up Derrick Brooks was a good move on their part, but it won't matter once Naufahu Tahi and the rest of the Minnesota Vikings destroy them.

    That's too bad.
    Urlacher is a great player.
I don't wish any player an injury and I don't laugh when someone is injured.
We don't need injuries in order to win.
I want to see their best players and beat them knowing that our players are better.

I dont really wish injury on anyone, but at the same time, I am not going to say that that I "want to play their best players, etc."
Look injuries are part of football, I could care less if we beat them with or without Urlacher. Simply put this hurts them alot, and very well could take them out of the equation.
Simply a good thing for us.
Besides, Urlacher is skum for a human so I must admit, this does bring a little of a smile to my face.

I would find them classless and assholes for posting crap like that.

I would expect it to bring a smile to their face.
And as I said ... it brings a smile to my face because Urlacher is a dick ... Peterson really is not and I see little reason for anyone to think he is.
And no ... I would not find them classless assholes ... they would pretty much just be telling the truth and happy that their team is now in a better position when they play against ours.
Is it a little silly to "hope" for injuries to players on other teams? Yes. If that is what you feel you NEED to win, then that kind of sucks.
But there is nothing wrong in enjoying the fact that one of arch rivals has lost one of their heart and soul players for the season. Injuries happen, all the time, to all teams, so just like it sucks when it happens to us, it is not so bad when it happens to others.
I have no problem in someone enjoying their bad luck for a little bit. Especially with, as stated before, a dick like Urlacher.

Bears are looking at an early hole to start the year. They lose their defensive leader for the year, and are probably looking at 0-2 since they face Pitt this weekend. Add in that both Minny and Green Bay will face Detroit and Cincy respectively, and the Bears could be looking at 2 games behind both teams right off the bat

Yeah I think that it's awesome that the VIKES will be the only team in the NFC NORTH that will have a win too...kinda weird that a packer fan sees it that way as well ;D

Poor sportsmanship to laugh or wish an injury on a foe.
Sure it's part of the game but that sword cuts both ways.
I'm sure no Vikings fan wants to see a season ending injury to one of our guys, much like the Bears fans don't want to see one befall one of theirs.
Even if some of the Bears fans are poor sports we should be above it.
I don't know what kind of dude Urlacher is, but I'll tell you one thing- he's a helluva football player and the kind of backer any team, including ours, could use.
I'll miss not seeing him play against the Vikings.
