Bears' Hester sets NFL record for TD returns
http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/CHI/9865159
Even though I hate the Bears, I have respect for this guy!
Wow...just fricken wow!
He is so amazing as a returner!
And he only a rookie!
Can you say rookie of the year?
Donte Hall was exceptional for a brief period.
Will be interesting to see if Hester can be a great returner every year.
Screw Desmond Howard (Packer and Wolverine turd).

He simply is phenomenal to watch ... to think 56 picks happened before the Bears took a flier on him and it is paying huge dividends (We picked Greenway, Griffin and Cook before Hester) ... He is going to be a gamebreaker for years ... and if they find ways to get the ball in his hands in other spots he will be even more dangerous.http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/CHI/9865159

Re: Bears' Hester sets NFL record for TD returns
Every time I see someone about to kick to him, I get a sick feeling in my stomach....he's just that good.
Say what you want about the Bears Defense (I'm not convinced they're all that good) or their Offense (I KNOW they aren't that good), but this kid has broken the back of more teams that any other single factor in the Bears arsenal.
The only thing worse than having a fumble or INT run back for a TD is to drive the field, score, and then watch it all get erased by a run back.
It's absolutely demoralizing.
I wonder, though, how long people will continue to kick to him before they start kicking away from him.
It's better to let the Bears start on their 40 with "Sexy Rexy" throwing errant passes than it is to let Hester get his hands on the ball.
He has great speed, awesome vision, and great instincts.
I wish WE had him.

Re: Bears' Hester sets NFL record for TD returns
There is no doubt he is the real deal, fun to watch.
This guy is quick and like you said has good vision and instinct.
The Bears looked solid last night.
I still have faith in Grossman blowing the game when they play a team that puts more pressure on him, hopefully they go crazy the last few games and fold in the playoffs.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain

Re: Bears' Hester sets NFL record for TD returns
I thought that Dante Hall had the record with like 7 returns for a td. How many did he get that one year that he was really good?
Hester is a stud though even though I don't like him. haha wow he is good.

http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/CHI/9865159Hester became the sixth player in league history to run back two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game. Nine players had shared the previous NFL record of four returned kicks for touchdowns in a single season.
Ken Houston had five returns for touchdowns on defense (four interceptions, one fumble) for the 1971 Houston Oilers.
2003 was Dante Hall's crazy year and he had 4 return TDs - 2 punts and 2 kickoffs.
