yup, Bears sign Manumaleuna and Taylor, they are trying to get the Peppers deal done right now.

I'm pissed that CT went to the Bears, but oh well. Hopefully we can land LT or Westbrook.

ESPN Rumors has a title of Vikings set to land a big fish?

Reports early on Friday suggest Minny will be much-improved in one area in 2010.

Vikes set to land a big fish?

No, it's not Julius Peppers or Karlos Dansby or Antrel Rolle, or a trade for a QB like Donovan McNabb or Jason Campbell ... not a metaphorical "big fish."

But the Minnesota Vikings do appear to be on the cusp of signing Marlin Jackson, the cornerback who was not tendered by the Colts, according to Chip Scoggins on Twitter. As Scoggins notes, Jackson has had some injury issues in the past, but he will help bolster a secondary that needs an upgrade.

The only good thing about losing CT is now the Vikings can target a decent FA. The Bears paid decent money for CT (over $3M a year and $7M guaranteed.

I think AY will do a good job as a replacement. The Vikes can spend this money going after an OL or a DB.

I agree. While I'm sad we're losing Taylor... I'm excited to see if our young guys can step-up.

I'm also happy to see Taylor as a starter, even if it is for the Bears. He deserves every cent he's earned.

    Congrats CT!
