Eh ... Peppers is going to get his payday and then be average.
Taylor is going to go be a backup again ... he will likely get a few more reps than in Minnesota in Chicago, but not a ton.

Re:Bears bringing in Julius Peppers & Chester Taylor
I would hate to see CT leave. Last year he showed he could still be a big part of what we do and with APs fumbleitis it was Chester that stood up and got the job done.
If he goes to another team I would rather it wasn't in the same division either, IMHO I don't think he will be a backup and could end up at the Skins who released their RBs yesterday

Re:Bears bringing in Julius Peppers & Chester Taylor
peppers would probably make the best fit in chicago.. they need the rush, and it will def help their D attack apposing qb's.
as for CT.. i really do think that if it's down to playing time, he will remain here, as he does get his looks, and i really doubt he's gonna find a system that caters to him being the #1 rb.. though i'm very sure he's got the talent, and ability to shoulder a team for a year or 2 yet, he'll get more seasons remaining here, and probably have a lot more fun doing it.

Taylor would be a backup in DC. They could pay him starter money, sure, but he'd be a backup to owner's pet Clinton Portis. New GM Allen announced he was the starter this morning, so Portis isn't going anywhere. And from a pride perspective, if all I could be was a backup, I'd rather be a backup to a young talent like Peterson and claim my age was the reason I wasn't getting a chance than back up the team cancer that is Portis.I would hate to see CT leave. More Rumors Before BedThe Bears are expected to offer Chester taylor something in the range of $8 million of gauranteed money.
Now you see why I've been saying the Vikes won't be able to match what CT is gonna get on the FA market.....Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
