Re: The Bears
the bears will be 5-11 again next year as teams will figure out that their secondary is sooo overrated, Urlacher is scared of taking on blocks and that their d line can be overpowered.

y does that not count? packers were in the playoffs when we beat them? and you just contradicted yourself..."never win in the playoffs" & "the packers don't count"? lol how long has it been since you all even had a shot at the playoffs?????better to be good one year than mediocre every year, and never win in the playoffs (wins vs packers dont count)
Last Chicago Bear playoff appearance:
2001 - loss to eagles 33-19
Last Chicago Bear win in the NFL playoffs:
1994 - won 35-18 over vikings

Re: The Bears
ok Rook, so the bears cant compete with the vikes history...
the bears were founded in 1920 before any team in the nfc central/north, they have the most HOF'ers most jerseys retired and 9 nfl championships, and the winningst coach in nfl history. so unless you guys are closet packer fans your team dosent compare in history...

Re: The Bears
yea sure the bears will be 5-11 next year, just like how packer fans think the packers will rise from the dead to win the NFCN next year, and lion fans think they will find a good coach for next year

ok. so the bears were founded in 1920s and vikings in the 60s. if the bears are so great, why we got more playoff and sb apperances than your stank a$$ team? that is what really counts anyways, isn't it? playoffs and SB? records don't mean dik unless you got the ring(s).ok Rook, so the bears cant compete with the vikes history...

Re: The Bears
bearstroll, if you didnt realize, both the vikings and lions have more talent than the bears do, it just so happens to be that your coaching staff is what has made you today. Once the lions get a real coaching staff, along with the vikings, you and the packers will be fighting for the basement couch. Oh, did I forget how many injuries the nfc north has had this year except for Chicago??
congrats on the soon to be playoff birth. It will be twice in 10 years. The bears had one superbowl in the modern nfl era. Thats as much as the rams, bucs, yeah and there are many teams that are greater than the bears. The 49ers, Dallas, New England, Green Bay and I can go on. All you guys can say is 85 superbowl . After that, yeah you pretty much sucked.
