Tice is supposedly going to call plays this week. So, there you have it. :grin:we should do the same and hire a monkey to call plays. At this point, it can't get any worse.

That's not true. Everything I have read is that there is a "possibility" of him calling the plays in the "near future". Also, a rumor out there that he called the plays on the last drive yesterday. Nothing formal on this as of yet.

I agree with you about not hiring Palmer, that would be the same or worse than having Looney."JDogg926" wrote:
No fricken way! Palmer was fired for a reason!Maybe we should sign Palmer. If nothing else, to ease the pressure on Loney.
But I think that Palmer is a scapegoat, a sacrifice to surpess the locals for a few more weeks. When people start leaving the game EARLY, like they did at Reliant, Owners and GMs get worried. The head coach will be next if they don't make .500 this year. The people need to have hope and not give up their season tickets, the way to do that is to fire people.
It has been different in MN. We have had stars to hang our hat on during our last 4 seasons to keep the fans interested. In Houston, there isn't a star on this team, Carr...NO, A.Johnson....NO, and Davis....NO.
Daunte is our only STAR right now and if he goes mediocre on us, things will get nasty.
