lol. Screw the Cheese... I am glad Arrington didn't sign with the packers. Who in their right mind would want to play for them? They are a team that is in rebuild mode. I will be shocked if Favre plays for them again, if he does, it is purely for the payday.
Yeah but I was hoping that they'd sign Arrington and let Hawk slip.

I would rather play Hawk, versus a proven talent like Arrington. If you meant so Hawk would slip to us, it would never happen.. If he doesn't go to the cheese, he will go before our pick at 17.
Well obviously we would have had to trade up, I know I was dreaming.

Yeah, Hawk is the real deal, but I don't want to package a bunch of our picks to get one guy, when we can get a bunch of talent with all of our picks.. It's good to dream though.. I know I do alot

I'd love to see the breakdown of this contract. It's either similar to the deal Julian Peterson got with the Seahawks, or it's a glorified one-year deal with a MASSIVE option bonus due next Spring to guarantee either a renegotiation or that the Giants cut Arrington.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports the New York Giants have reached an agreement with free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins) on a seven-year contract worth $49 million. Further details of the contract were not available, but the Giants were close to the numbers Arrington was hoping for.

I'm interested in seeing how he and Coughlin get along. Could be a perfect match or it could get real ugly real fast

After thoroughly analyzing the previous events, I have reached the conclusion that Mr. Arrington was using the Green Bay Packers in order to receive a more lucrative contract offer from the New York Giants. As a result, this may increase the odds of Mr. Favre's retiring or perhaps signing with a different organization.
I Love Kerry Collins (and John Rocker).

Yep the Giants defensive line is easily going to be the best in the league this year.
I doubt it they don't have great defensive tackles to worry about I'd go with the Jaguars, Panthers, Falcons, or Colts as being far better.
Minnesota Vikings : Simply the best

I really, really, really, really wish the Pack had signed that injury-prone stiff. Big $$$ tied up in a tremendously overrated player.

    Oh well.

If you can't play for Joe Gibbs - you can't play for anyone.
