They are just plain dumb if they get Archuleta to make Brown expendable.
Granted he has a hard time staying healthy, he is still to good to get rid of.

good..archuleta only makes an impact stopping the run..throw right over his slow ass every single play hes back in coverage
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Re: Archuleta soon to be a BEAR

Mike Brown is a great athlete with some really serious health issues. How will this make him any more expendable than he already was. Danieal Manning could move to corner as well.

Saying this is a positive thing for the Vikings is ignorant at best.

Does anyone remember how John Lynch did in this system with a similar skill set to Archuleta? For less than 3 mil a year and a 6th rounder one could do worse.

Even if he is not the same person that drew the biggest money ever for a saftey last year he is still the better than what they would have gotten it in the 6th round. Tank Williams and Greg Blue cant cover man to man for crap either but they are a good fits for our cover 2 team and everyone here seems to love them.

Say what you will about his 1 on 1 coverage, but when he hits he makes Steve Atwater look like his ho.

Re: Archuleta soon to be a BEAR

I remember last offseason where Adam Archuleta were the big name S in the FA. And the Redskins gave him a really big contract.

What does it say about him now that he didn't play that much for the Skins in a season where they were really bad. Should still think he is scary to face twice a year, or is the bad season a result that he were overrated.

My take is that he probably got a bit overpaid last year, but he is still a starter quality S, that can come downhill and hit you.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Smiley or no, to compare Archuleta to Steve Atwater is a joke.

Re: Archuleta soon to be a BEAR

I know it was good and I had complied my evidence to dig in for the good fight. But then I got called to a meeting and could not get it all on ppo paper just right.

I'll just say the Skins did not use him very well and he had some problems with the coaching staff.

But do a google "Freak Of Training".

If we actually had WRs I'd be salivating because Archuleta absolutely blows in pass coverage.

Looks like Adam Archuleta will soon be a Chicago Bear.
He had a dissapointing season last year but had some good ones with the Rams playing under Lovie Smith.
This could make a pretty darn good bears secondary even better.
He is also good in run support if I remember right from his Rams days.

This is not a sure thing yet however.
