Re: Arbitrator Upholds Owens' Suspension
I think it was really important for the NFL and the Teams to uphold this. I don't think this was loosely based. He has done a ton of crap and they have had it documented.
This decision and the KJ decision tell players that they can't F' with the organization. The players need to be able to be disciplined when it is needed. Taking away paychecks and stats are the only thing that matters to some.

Agreed with Snow. He is a cancer on the NFL and any team that picks him up is crazy. He should be banned from the NFL for a year also as punishment. If this was a one-time offense I'd say it's too harsh but this guy has a long history of being a trouble maker. Heck they banned Ontario for a year. They should do the same to him.

Re: Arbitrator Upholds Owens' Suspension
I wonder though how this suspension will effect him in the future. Will he continue his anticts, or will he stay away from the media?
If it wasn't for the media this stuff wouldn't get spread around but they know that if they ask him questions he's going to answer them. He likes the attenting he likes the media. If he was to come to my team i'd do my best just to keep him off tv and away from the media.

I have to clearify this, he is done if the Eagles want him to be done. The Eagles decisions to do what they have done and want to do has been upheld. If the Eagles wanted, they could retract their decision to deactivate TO. With that said, TO is done."vikingstw" wrote:

Supposedly, he can put in another appeal after the GB game???? Which should be upheld again.
