Anyone familiar with the Hennepin County Rams?

I'm curious because the other night I was shopping for clothes (those of you who I met at the Eagles game probably know I have to shop in the big and tall section) , but this fella approaches me and wants me to come tryout for the team , says they are semi pro , and play 10 games a year , I think i'm going to give it a go , just curious if anyone else has had any experience with them

Well at least TJack and Ryan Cook have options for next year

There are alot of semi-pro teams popping up here and there. My only question is that the call themselves Hennepin County but practice in Saint Paul. Huh?

Ha that is a hell of a thought

    @ Mr. Anderson

I played in High School , thats about it as far as organized football goes but I play weekly with my buddies , a way different game but it keeps me on my toes , I think he more so was interested in my size , I went to the first practice last night , second one tonight there are a few fast guys , I am the biggest guy that came to practice by I would guess about 30 lbs.

I'm intrigued by this story, it makes me want to play again. How seriously organized is it? And what's your height and weight, just curious.

Sounds similar to the Fargo-Moorhead Liberty football team. They had former Gopher QB Bryan Cupito in the beginning..don't know why it didn't work out...and they also had a 70 year old linebacker...no exaggeration.

    That's pretty cool Krumb.
A guy I used to work with played on a team here in Cleveland.
Most were former college guys just wanting to play ball.
This guy used to come to work all beat to hell.

    Excellent news Krumb !
I hope it all works out for you.
Just give 110% all the time and I'm sure you will be fine.
I played organized football, well into my early 30's.
I know what Ultra is saying by
    " ALL BEAT UP"
I got tired of going to work on Monday, feeling like crap and hurt, most of the time. Then feeling much better by Thurs. Only to take the field again on that Sunday and starting the whole routine over again....

Best thing you can do for yourself is, Lots of excersise, eat right, and drink lots of water.....

Please keep us up to date with what's happening with you and the team..Should be a blast to follow your story...And for some of us, to re-live those good old days, thru you !

    Best of Luck
