Since the NFLN exiled him pending his move to ESPN when his contract expires this fall?
I bet he is going nuts not being on TV with his blackberry this weekend.

...Yes. I can't believe he went to ESPN though, asshole. He might as well start doing baseball analysis to get more air-time.

If you want to be a talking head in football isn't NFLN pretty much the place to be? He gave up football 365 for the occasional 10 minute newsbreak (from baseball or hockey) for what Ocho Cinco has shaved his pubes to resemble now.

That is what I was thinking.

IMO he had stability at NFLN. ESPN seems more like a revolving door and every segment reminds me of the effort given to a HS lunch time quickie. Oh well, he probably got a big pay raise.

I totally agree.

It was nice seeing a regular guy and not just another Athlete or Coach with biased opinions about their friends that they get updates from.
He must have been lured in by the money.

Maybe they have big plans for him? I would like to see him replace Cornhole in the booth.

I miss him for sure. I want him to come back to the NFLn because he is one of the best in the business and I don't have ESPN and I would really miss the short little guy

crap... I didn't know about that.
I liked Schefter, he had alot of good sources, and generally knew about any rumour before anyone else.
I agree with snow, i'd love to see him replace cornholio in the booth.
after losing Madden, they've gotta do something to make watching primetime games better on the announcer end of things.
