Thread: Anderson Wants to Return

During the past couple of weeks, Ravens right offensive tackle Willie Anderson seemed to be headed the way of veteran cornerbacks Chris McAlister and Samari Rolle.

Thank you for your services, but we’re moving in another direction.

But Anderson said there was a communication problem between the Ravens’ coaching staff and him about whether he was going to retire after last season.

My guess, not alot of interest has been shown by other teams for Ole Willies services so now he is crawling back helmet in hand, looking for a contract.

Seems to me he was given permission to shop his wares or something like that.

They were entertaining replacing him, but he wanted to return.. now they will have to mend fences with him to keep him happy and let him know he's wanted.. i don't think he was shopping himself.. if he was, it's bc they were gonna replace him...
