Okay both guys surrounding Harvin are signed so that will hopefully get negotiations concluded tomorrow.

    Thanks Fuad.

I wonder if the Vikes will pay him in the slot, or possibly, a bit more? My guess is that Harvins agent is asking for a bit more.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

They could be balencing the $ with the concessions via his failed drug test; I'm sure they want some safeguards in place (offering more money but greater concessions in the case of another failed test, etc.)

    Trust me, I'm a doctor.

The 7th overall pick, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, just signed for I believe just as much as Berrian, around $24million guaranteed with a base salary of around $39million. I really hope Harvin's agent doesn't use that as a measuring stick in negotiations.

Percy should fall between the two and take the contract with a smile...It was his dope smoking which made him fall as far as he did....suck it up your not a superstar your a rookie, get your ass in camp and do your job.
I heard on talk radio that his agent is trying to get him more money because he is a top ten pick....ummm he wasn't taken in the top ten and i'm guessing it had to do with his fail of the drug test.
    His fault and his alone...

This is one reason why i think they need to go with a set amount per pick... its garbage that just because they were picked in the draft they can hold teams hostage and not show up to training camp.
I think two years and then they can negotiate a contract until then they should have a set pay schedule.
    Lets go fishing
