Al Davis the jilted lover?
Did anyone else think crazy Al sounded like a jilted ex with his rather long and documented press conference?
Seriously, I was expecting him to whip out tape recordings both audio and video, as well as start bringing up witnesses to testify on his behalf.
Nothing was Al's fault, it was all part of Kiffin's and Mortenson's master plan to sabotage the Raiders and humiliate Davis.
Give me a break.
Go back to bed old-timer, just go back to bed.
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
It's time for Grandpa Al to go to the home.
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
I heard some of the press conference, but I didn't watch it to look for him jittering.
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
I first heard it live on Sirius's "Movin' The Chains."
The audio only doesn't do the "dark lord" justice though.
Check out the video on NFL.com.
There's a point in the video where Al is either about to cry or just blanks out for about 17 seconds.
It's hilarious.

That was Grandpa Al???
I've got to get to the eye doctor--I thought it was an old Munster's re-run!
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
Doesn't the NFL require owners to take yearly senility tests?
Cuz Al is going to fail his next one.
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
Davis is crazy as all hell.
He suffers from extreme paranoia.
He thinks every coach, staff member, and player is out to get him.
He is so afraid of someone attempting to take away his power he has to get rid of all of them!
He has isolated himself away from reality.
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
Al needs to sell the team
I feel bad for the guy now, i'm fairly certain he isn't there anymore.. Was he to begin with though?
Re: Al Davis the jilted lover?
The NFL League Office has sent Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis a letter informing him that he was in violation of NFL league rules when he falsely accused the New England Patriots of tampering with then Raider wide receiver Randy Moss.
