Re: Aaron Rodgers' SI comments set off firestorm in Green Bay

Well that "firestorm" looks more like a flicker from a toxic fart with the BS espn dropped later this week.. SI was getting some play with the Rodgers story in WI.. so ESPN upped the odds a little..

I am completely sick of this offseason crap.. what a freakin joke this circus as become.. media creating more media hype.. Can't wait for the next big story drops and they start to leave the Packers sort this crap out.

Enough to drive a person silly.,

Usually the media circus surrounding Fav-re drives the purple fans nuts.
It is nice to see it happening to the green and gold for a change.

Well personally speaking.. I tired of the Favre overbearing praise since about '96... at that point it was just nice to have the trophy home.. not matter the amount of worship there was.. absolute amazing player to watch play the game.. but last time I checked.. he wasn't parting a sea or walking on water..

    Wow! Way to go cheesdick.

With Favre gone, who's jersey will the fans be buying now? I'd bet damn few Rodgers jerseys.
I kinda like this guy. I am with him. Shut the fuck up Packer fans. LOL *secretly going to buy a Rodgers jersey* Just kidding.

    I agree.
Favre was fun to watch, and while he was the heart and soul of the Packers, the level of worshhip was far beyond the bounds of reasonableness.

That said, I agree, in part, with Rodgers.
But I can see how this could - and will be - twisted to use against him.
I think he "ooopsed" big time and his retractions are only fanning the flames.
Thank goodness that ESPN created another Favre controversy to put this one to bed.

If Rodgers has a good year or two, no one will remember this quote.

    Well, what do you expect?

If they don't have any players getting DUI's or beating their wives and/or girlfriends, they have to make something up.

The off season is liking watching paint dry. It looks better if you just say screw it and have a beer.
