Aaron Rodgers playing for a payday
Packers leave Rodgers playing for a payday

By now, everyone has heard Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson say it repeatedly.
“Aaron (Rodgers) is the guy,†Thompson, the Green Bay Packers’ general manager, said most recently during last month’s draft....

Re: Aaron Rodgers playing for a payday
That's actually pretty nice, especially if he progresses... which we all expect him to doThat’s among the lowest 2008 base salaries of NFL starting quarterbacks. Only seven projected 2008 starters will make less than Rodgers this season. Only one projected NFC starting quarterback, Minnesota’s Tarvaris Jackson ($445,000)Rosie O'Donnell is a dude!

Sounds like a good bet, but who want to wait that long to claim that bet.The Grand Sierra Resort sports book in Reno, Nev., recently attached an over/ under figure of 9½ regular-season wins to the Green Bay Packers for the 2008 season.
Take the under.
8 wins at the most.
