Re: 6 NFL teams chosen for regular season game in Europe
I like the fact that a NFL game will be played in Europe, but I disagree with the choices.
Hosting a game in Europe means a loss of revenue for the home team.
Because of this I think the playoff team that hosted the most home games this post season be the team to go over seas.
But, I guess since league owners are the ones voting for it, the six owners are probably on board with the idea...
Maybe if you're lucky AngleVike, the Vikings will be the opponent!

Re: 6 NFL teams chosen for regular season game in Europe
I don't like the idea of the NFL playing regular season games in Europe. I think that could really mess a team up for 2 or 3 weeks with the jet lag and travel involved.

Re: 6 NFL teams chosen for regular season game in Europe
My assumption is that each team will have a BYE the following week to recover.
Plus they have had exhibition games overseas before without much problem, so I bet they are taking those experiences into account.
Maybe it would be an opening weekend game, followed by a bye or something.Zeus wrote:

NFL teams shouldn't have to go to Europe when NFLEurope is already there.
