What's the difference between a 7-9 season that comes up short of the playoffs and an 11-5 record with the potential for a deep postseason run?

Jets- All their FA and early picks in the draft are overpaid and rated(minue faneca)

I am stunned by the required Cardinals ad on this list every year ... time to give up on them ... but he is right, if they make a run it will surprise.
I like NOT seeing us on this lists actually. I think that it shows that writers are NOT going to be surprised when we make a run.

there was a similar thing about this on NFL.com.. except the teams were the Ravens, Bills, Eagles, and Vikings that were chosen by the "experts".

Well, Well, Well. It seems the author did leave the Vikings out for a REASON. If we were to go 12-4 that would be NO surprise to me. The author concluded that these teams could make a run but I think everyone knows we are the HOT team in the NFC. We have the brightest stars in AD and Allen and to me they are the best players at their postions.....

raiders, jets, panthers that gets a huge lol from me. they should all be in the bottom of their divisions... but what does he mean by suprize? make the playoffs or win more than 5 games?

i wouldn't be shocked if the eagles found a magical way to win the division.

Lest we forget that the Panthers were in the Super Bowl not too long ago
