The 49ers have sent a contract proposal to Shaun Hill, and the quarterback and his agent plan to spend the weekend poring over the document.

Hurry SF, make sure you sign a crappy QB before the masses flock to try to get his services

Re: 49ers attempt to re-sign Shaun Hill before he hits FA
Thanks my friend.
Very interesting read.
Funny how QB's of his caliber are now hot commodities.
Makes one wonder if we will see any movement at QB in our own huddle.
I still say you willl see Spielmen and crew draft another guy in this draft.
Probably 5th/6th round or so.Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I think we will see a new QB in our chart. No clue if they will do it in the draft, FA, or trade. I would say Todd Collins in FA to back up TJ, Donovan McNabb in trade to replace TJ, or Chad Henne, Colt Brennan, or Erik Ainge in the draft in the 3rd round. Thanks my friend.

If I were to analyze this I would say Todd Collins would be best suited."Marrdro" wrote:

He's a Childress type of guy where the team comes first and he never minds his role.
He's a pretty intelligent guy that would be a great backup and mentor for TJ though they are different styled QBs.
I still wouldn't mind McNabb since there is history between Chilly and him and he is the same style QB as TJ.

I hope and pray our QB depth chart looks something like this:
a.
TJ
b.
Vet
c.
Rookie
They could also try to sneak the Rookie to the practice squad again and carry two Vets but I think they learned thier lesson last year. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
