    44 bold predictions

Minnesota Vikings -- Or the Chicago Bears. Or even the Green Bay Packers. It's that close.

I'm taking the Vikes because Brett Favre will do what Tarvaris Jackson has never done: complete 60 percent or more of his passes. Favre doesn't need to be a weekly hero. He just needs to make teams pay when they load the box against Peterson.

Thought these were some pretty interesting predictions. Guy has a funny sense of humor, and in the end picks the Super Bowl to be us and the Patriots.

Also liked how he picked AD to be the most valuable player....Although who wouldn't make that prediction?

    Percy Harvin, RB, Minnesota Vikings.

Harvin is Reggie Bush without the bad knee.

Does he know Harvin is a wide out?

I don't see New England going to the big show. They have lost alot of key players/vets and that kind of experience isn't easily replaceable. I also think that the aura that has surrounded them is fading...it's the end of their dynasty IMHO.

Vikes will we go to the big show? My gut says no, but I think we go farther than we did last year. Not being pessimistic but just my gut. We have allot of talent on this team on both sides of the ball, and a better coach than Denny, but I don't think this is the year we go all the way. I hope to all that is good and holy I am wrong though.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

I hate when people pick us to go to the Super Bowl.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

Many people think that Harvin is a running back playing wide receiver

in college he lined up as a running back than he did a receiver.

I think he fits the Reggie Bush I do everything mold myself, so it's hard to say he is jsut a receiver.
I think we will see him line up as running back a few times this season and not in the Wildcat offense.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    Agreed.
Players like Reggie and Percy become subject to the position that the team puts them in.
I think the Vikings are in a much better position with Percy having seen what has happened to Reggie in this league.
Before Reggie, the closest thing to him entering the league was Gale Sayers and the Saints wanted an explosive player to add to their RB corps with McCallister aging quickly.
    Who could blame them.
Everyone saw what he did in college at the RB position and hopes were that that would transition to the pro game.
Turns out that Reggie, while fast, is not nearly as dominant in the pro game as college due to the speed of the game.
Not to mention he was not built to run up the gut which limits his carries to the outside.
As a reciever though, he has been pretty impressive and it is a better way to take advantage of his hands, speed, and elusiveness.

Having seen this I think the Vikes will make a better choice and decide to use Percy as more of a reciever and return man and less of a RB.
Percy will then be used in situations and certain packages as a back complimenting AD and CT.
He will not be pressured into carrying the load of the RB position.

Percy was a hell of a choice with the 21st pick IMO.
Another weapon, not RB, but a WEAPON.

I totally agree. I'm sure we will have a package or two with AD and PH lined up as WRs for end-arounds. Wow, I am really excited about the possibilities Harvin brings to this offense.
    Halo 4. Start another fight.

Only thing worse than being picked to go to the SB is being picked to lose it!

    +1
I rather the Vikes aren't in the SB, if they don't win it.
    5 times would be horrible!
But again you can't win if you don't play.
If the Giants can take down NE in the SB, surely the Vikes can.
