40 year old Junior Seau rejoins Patriots in 2009

Forget about Favre for a minute; 40 year old Junior Seau rejoins the Patriots in 2009

Source: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...s&confirm=true

That's right, Favre! You're not the only one.
Junior Seau has agreed to rejoin the Patriots to play his 20th NFL season. Seau has been in and out of retirement since 2006. In 2008, Seau came out of retirement to play the final four games with the Patriots. The Patriots need a veteran after losing multiple Pro Bowlers in safety Rodney Harrison, linebacker Tedy Bruschi, linebacker Mike Vrabel and defensive lineman Richard Seymour.

I actually think that Junior Seau's decision to play at the age of 40 is more impressive than Brett Favre. The linebacker position demands more strength and conditioning.

Any team that is willing to sign a 40 year old football player is idiotic. No way an old man can help a team win!

Seau has flip flopped more on retirement than even the great Favre himself!
Why has nobody ripped on this guy?

Too bad for him the Pats and Tom Baby are on the downswing. Randy "street" Moss thought he was going to jump on board straight to the super bowl. Can't stand that team.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

He said he could play 6 good games.
The Patriots are thin at linebacker so he decided to help them out.
Although, he is a liability in coverage now - so he might actually hurt the team.

I like it, and don't blame him, his desire to win the Big One I cannot blame him one bit.
