4+ years still not too high of a price to pay
On the NFL: Four-plus years still not too high of a price to pay
Tyrone Carter's brother is still in prison for deciding to watch him play in Super Bowl XL. But he said he had no regrets.

TAMPA, FLA. — I thought my older brother was nuts for paying $800 to attend Super Bowl XLIII. Then I discovered what crazy really is when Tyrone Carter told me what his older brother, Tony "Tank" Carter, paid to attend Super Bowl XL.....

Some laws are very heavy handed when putting folks behind bars. He wasn't driving on a suspended license, he never had one.... The court should have mandated he took drivers training, then went and got his drivers license, proof of insurance. Many set in stone laws like the 3 strikes and such need to be reviewed and amended, I believe every case needs to heard on it's own and then the judgement for punishment can be levied. You cannot have people serving life sentences for a minor offense being a third strike. Could you imagine being locked up for life cause you were starving and stole a piece of pizza and was caught? The guy deserves punishment, but not a life sentence.

I hear what you're saying and agree that each case sh0ould be handled individually.

On the other hand the laws are there as deterrence so if someone does the crime they must be willing to pay the time.
