Todd McShay of ESPN has the Vikings picking 20th overall in his mock draft. I dont understand why the Vikes arent farther down atleast 25 or so. I think they will be picking at the end of the draft. Mock drafts this early in the year make no sense. There is no way any of the picks pan out. Players will drop and rise throughout the season.

Way too early but an interesting read. Hard to tell what our needs will be this early. We still have a long season ahead.

Look at #12, Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia - I've been saying it for 4 or 5 years now. "[Eugene Monroe] will be a first round NFL Draft pick" I said that on Thanksgiving of my sophomore year of high school after I saw him remorselessly dominate anyone we threw at him.

The game was a blowout, and turned into more of a spectacle/competition of who could beat Monroe, no one did.

He was a great player.

, grew up in ghetto-ass Plainfield, stayed out of trouble. His Aunt worked at my high school, and I'd talk to her every once in a while about him, she was a very nice lady and it seems like he came from a very good family.

If theres one player I'd like to see us pick next April it's him.
