    Nope, he can't until at least 2010 if we are found guilty of tampering. The rule is even if he is released a team found guilty of tampering cannot get that player for one year from the date of the tampering infraction.

    Last I knew, we are in America, not China, and everyone is innocent till proven guilty.
    Personaly, I think that is one hell of a big ass smoke screen that TT put out there, to take some of the heat off himself...

    First of all we know that there were phone calls from Bevell to Favre. I think for the league that will be enough if this assistant coach says they talked to Farve about getting him. It doesn't take much and it doesn't need to be proved. Just a hint of it is enough to find the Vikes guilty.
