Game never finished due to atomic blast.
    Vikings leading at halftime though.

Just like Tom Clancey's book "The Sum of All Fears"

Yeah...I was thinking that might happen too

    Re: 2005 NFL Predictions

im sorry, but no! the Patriots are going to be superbowl contenders again, in fact, they are going to the superbowl. Bellicheck is an amazingcoach and they still have a great team. I love the patriots, nowhere near the Vikings, im a die hard, life-long Viking lover, but i really respect the patriots in how they a TEAM! I think that its gonna be the vikes and pats in the superbowl. That would be a great game! As far as the Cardinals going 10-6....just not gonna happen. best they are gonna do is 9-7, which i doubt, they are gonna be 8-8. they are very young and if you lived in AZ like i do, youd know. The Bidwells still own them and as long as that continues to happen, they arent winning anything, including the division. I wouldnt agree with too much of those predictions, but i can see the Vikes going 11-5. The pack as much as i HATE them, will go 9-7 and win second in our division. Everything else seems ok i guess.

    Re: 2005 NFL Predictions

As you all can tell I have so much respect for the chargers. Anybody really thinking their going to have a better than 500 record doesn't know the bolts very well not to mention their coach who's nuts suck up inside his body in big games. Plays to conservativly and has a knack of losing the big ones. With the improvements in the rest of the AFC west I predict the chargers will be 6-10 at best.
Please understand once they lose two or three in a row the fair weather fans jump off the bandwagon, games start getting blacked out on tv because they didn't sell enough tickets and all you will hear is maybe Brees was a one season wonder. I've been out here since 92 and all I see is a little history repeating. Remember when they got their arses handed to them by the 49'ers in 95. One good season then down the crapper. It will happen again this year mark my words.
As far as the rest of the league your guess is as good as mine. I will say that I think the eagles have missed their window of opportunity and won't fair to well. The colts and manning have a monkey on their back and though they will have a winning record will fail again. The bungels please give me a break. Browns no love here.
Pittsburgh will reign supreme and will knock the pats out.
With all that said I will agree if our D meshes there is only one team in the NFC that will rule the day. GO VIKES!!!
This year the Vikes D is really going to find out if Farve tastes like chicken and to any Charger fans
