Last year, I had Vikings losing to Colts, year before I had Eagles over Chargers(I missed the Chargers being successful by a year, but was close w/ the Eagles), and the year before that I had GB over Oakland (I had TB losing to GB in the NFC champ. game, so I was pretty close that year).542cbf305f333b0554e8ffa937f852d6

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
As long as the Vikes win it all, I don't care who else is in there...
Good analysis though...I like the Iggles getting upset in the first round by the Panthers...Go Delhomme!
But I don't see the Patsies slipping that much...although it would make me very happy to see that happen...it is about time for all of the Boston teams to slide back to the bottom where they belong!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
5 Things that I'm almost willing to guarantee this year:
1. The Arizona Cardinals win the NFC West.
2. The Patriots and Steelers both miss the playoffs.
3. The Vikings take their division and a first round bye in the playoffs.
4. The Lions make the playoffs, WC obviously.
5. The Packers won't reach .500.542cbf305f333b0554e8ffa937f852d6

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
I think the bucs will have a shot at the division this year.
I think the Raiders beat out the Chargers for 2nd in their division.
I think the steelers won't suck that bad lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans beat out the Jags for the #2 in their division.
I think Seattle rebounds and has a strong year, the Cards will be good with Denny at the helm again so #2 for them.
I do think (hope) that is the superbowl, Vikings vs. Chiefs Part 2
Looks good though all for fun.

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
Alot of those predictions kinda make me wonder..
Why would the Steelers lose 1 game last year and then the next year have a losing record? And be behind the Bengals and Browns?
Why would the Pats win the bowl and then the next year have a losing record?
I think Cowboys will end up atleast having a .500 season..
Im not sure but there is more I just can't think right now

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
The Steelers and the Pats definately won't be that bad. How can you say the Super Bowl Champs are gonna be 7-9? I also have a very hard time seeing the Cards being 10-6.
The rest I can believe, although I hate making predictions because so much crazy crap happens during the year.
My boldest prediction is the Bengals have a break out year and challenge for the division.
Anywho, as long as the Vikes win the whole thing, I don't care about the other stuff!

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
my guarantees:
1. Bengals barely miss the playoffs again.
2. Chiefs look like a playoff caliber team with 5-2 record to start but end the season 9-7.
3. Eagles lose to Washington and the Cowboys at least once each in the season. They will not be a force this year.
4. Vick will only have three good throwing games and be listed as the best QB ever. (sarcasm)
5. Both the Vikes and the lions will win both games against the pack.
6. Playoff teams: (no particular order)
Vikes, Eagles, Cowboys, Arizona, Carolina, Atlanta
Texans, Colts, Patriots, Steelers, Chargers, Cheifs
7. Bennett has a 1300 yard rushing season.
some of my predictions are bold, but i really think Texas will have two teams in the playoffs this year.

Re: 2005 NFL Predictions
My guarantees:
1) The Minnesota Vikings will win the Super Bowl
2) The Green Bay Packers will NOT win the Super Bowl.
3) The Green Bay Packers will NOT make the playoffs.
4) The Green Bay Packers will NOT have a winning record.
5) The Green Bay Packers will NOT win a single game against the Vikings.
6) Brett Favre will throw more INT's than TD's.
Thanks PPE for the sig.
