University of Minnesota and Minnesota Vikings reach preliminary agreement for Vikings' use of TCF Bank Stadium
MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL (05/10/2012) �The University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a Letter of Intent which allows the Vikings� use of TCF Bank Stadium during potential construction at the current Metrodome site of a new stadium for the National Football League franchise. Subject to Board of Regents approval at its meeting tomorrow, university President Eric Kaler may sign the Letter of Intent in the next few days.

The Letter of Intent provides that the Vikings will reimburse the university for all changes they require for TCF Bank Stadium, and all non-game day expenses and game-day operational expenses

Joe Kapp was in town and we had a chance to talk. While here, he stopped by our partner TV show, Game ON! and he talked about several different things...but we clipped up the discussion of his right cross seen around the world on Youtube. Did you know they put Angelo on Dr. Phil to talk about grudges? Ridiculous.

Vikings Deny Parcells Report

While its no secret backroom discussions happen in the NFL, this on its face seems somewhat unlikely. If we are to take Zygi as the upfront owner he has been building a team on integrity and sticking to his decisions, it seems unlikely that he would go against his commitment to Frasier this year.

If anything, I would view this as tabloid-mongering from the NY Post and Bleacher Report as related to this year. It would not be out of the realm of reality, however, for these discussions to perhaps occurred in reference to future opportunities if the Vikings are concerned about Frasier's ability to deliver.

I know fans desperate for wins are willing to hold on to any shred of what brings hope, but I think we need to

Chris Doleman Elected to HOF

Eden Prairie, MN (February 4, 2012) - Former Vikings DE/LB Chris Doleman was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. Chosen by the Hall�s Board of Selectors, Doleman joins 10 former Vikings who have also earned the prestigious honor. He will be enshrined in Canton on Saturday, August 4, 2012.

�Having watched Chris enter the Vikings Ring of Honor this past season, we�re very excited that he has now been chosen as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2012,� said Vikings Owner/Chairman Zygi Wilf. �Chris was a very important part of the organization�s success for 10 years and his accomplishments on the field speak for themselves. He has earned this honor and we look forward to celebrating his enshrinement in Canton in August.�
