  1. Dreaming out loud.

I like looking ahead to spring, free agency, the draft.

The one thing Childress initially got right was his "you build a team from trenches" speech. Initially we did just that.

On defense Pat and Kevin Williams anchored the middle of our defensive line. We traded, a lot, and brought in a DE liked Jared Allen.

At the time we signed Steve Hutchinson to a contract. A lot of people thought we were crazy to pay a guard that much money. Still ...

  2. Should the Vikings Move to a 3-4 Defense in 2012?

The game certainly didn't lack offence, over 1000 yards between the two teams and as the game went into overtime tied 38 - 38 I found myself cheering ...

  4. Where Is Joe Webb?

    by , 10-28-2011 at 02:03 PM (Shocker's Locker)
When the Vikings drafted Joe Webb out of the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2010, he was a 6"4" amazing athlete with lots of potential. A quarterback in college, the Vikings originally drafted him to play WR in the NFL, but after seeing his potential in training camp, they decided to keep him at QB. Seemed like a smart move at the time.

Now, after the QB mess over the first 6 games this season, Christian Ponder is the starter for the rest of the season, McNabb is the backup and ...
