Home opener, Bucs to be sunk at the Dome
Well last week didn't go as wanted even though Harvin started the campaign off with an almighty bang ! Things never really were built on that good start and so the final result finished as many originally expected, even though the Chargers were there for the taking.
So we renew acquaintances with our old NFC Central rivals with the Bucs coming to town. As I write this the PPO tailgate will have finished and everyone will be getting to their seats for a home game back in the Dome. The pressure is now on Musgrave, McNabb and the rest of the offense to show that we have moved on from the vanilla tripe that was constantly served up by Childress and Bevell. We have the players that can make it hard for many teams in the league, and yes that even includes McNabb despite his piss poor showing last week.
I'm expecting to see a few more downfield shots today, though don't expect them to be to Berrian given his recent form. Peterson will still see a lot of touches and hopefully will be used for his catching as well as his running ability.
It's the home opener gang and time for the 2011 Vikings to make people sit up and take them seriously.
